Young girl pulled from debris alive after flight overshoots hilltop runway
An Air India Express Dubai-Mumbai Boeing 737-800 series aircraft overshot the runway on arrival and crashed into a forest. Airline officials say 8 people have been rescued while nearly 160 others are feared dead.
As many as 160 people were feared dead after the Air India plane arriving from Dubai crashed and burst into flames at dawn Saturday as it overshot a precarious hilltop runway while landing.
