Brooke Ellen Bollea (born May 5, 1988), better known by her stage name Brooke Hogan, is an American pop singer and television personality. She appeared on the reality-television series Hogan Knows Best, which focused on her family, and which premiered on July 10, 2005 on VH1 and MTV. A spin-off series called Brooke Knows Best focuses on her. She released her debut album Undiscovered in 2006.
Hogan was signed to Trans Continental Records, in 2002. Some early music was produced with the help of Rich Cronin. Her first song in the United States singles charts was "Everything to Me". Produced by Shep Goodman and Kenny Gioia as part of her album This Voice, the single was released in July 2004. It appeared at #97 on the Billboard Hot 100 and #1 on the Hot 100 Singles Sales, but dropped off the chart in a few weeks. The album was planned for release September 21, 2004, but this never happened.
Brooke next appeared with her father in an hour-long profile on VH1, (Inside) Out: Hulk Hogan, Stage Dad. The success of this special spawned an entire series. Hogan Knows Best debuted in July 2005 and was the highest-rated series premiere in VH1's network history. The series, which helped her become a household name, was according to Hulk Hogan intended in part to promote Brooke's music career.
Hogan Knows Best presented her father as strict with her dating. On the show, Hulk placed a GPS tracker on Brooke's vehicle that enables him to track her whereabouts and can even remotely shut down the engine of his daughter's car if he feels the need to do so. However, Brooke said in a later interview that her father loosened up after her eighteenth birthday.
In 2006, Hogan changed record labels and became the first artist signed to Scott Storch's label, initially called Storchaveli Records, but later named Storch Music Company. Hogan's first single, "About Us", premiered on season two finale of Hogan Knows Best. The album, Undiscovered, was released October 24, 2006. In 2006 Brooke won a Teen Choice Award for Best Choice Grill for the music video for "About Us".
Hogan appeared in the November 2006 edition of FHM, becoming the first FHM Cover Model under 21-years-old. As a result, the November issue had no liquor advertising: "In the very rare instance that you might have a cover star under the age of 21, they don't want to be in the position of seeming to market to anyone under age."
Brooke Hogan appeared as a judge panel in America’s Prom Queen in early 2008. A spin-off series called Brooke Knows Best premiered on July 13, 2008 on VH1.
On June 27, 2008, Hogan released the first single called "By Heart" from her second album, and she changed her label to Icon Music Group. "By Heart" was produced by Icon Music's producer Hulk Steve Morales.
In July 2008, Brooke said on the "Chelsea Lately" show that she had received an offer to appear nude in Playboy. PerezHilton.com confirmed that Brooke has turned down the offer.
It was revealed on Brooke Knows Best that she once dated Staks who appeared on a track titled "My Number" off her 2006 album, Undiscovered. Stacks was also CEO of her former record label, SoBe Entertainment.
On October the 18th 2008 Brooke Hogan added a song called Fallen featuring Stacks to her myspace.com/brookehoganmusic.
