Excessive exposure to ultraviolet rays has detrimental health effects, including possible burn and even skin cancer.

Tanning is a natural process, whereby the skin creates the brown-colored pigment called melanin, to protect it against the harmful UV rays in sunlight, but operates equally with artificial UV radiation. There are two different mechanisms involved.
Firstly, the UVA-radiation generates oxidative stress, which in turn oxidises pre-existing melanin. This leads to rapid darkening of already existing melanin. Secondly, there is an increased production of melanin (melanogenesis). It is a reaction of the body to photodamage from UVB. This melanogenesis is triggered by the same DNA damage that causes sunburn. Melanogenesis leads to delayed tanning. It first becomes visible about 72 hours after exposure. The tan that is created by an increased melanogenesis lasts much longer than the one that is caused by oxidation of existing melanin.

Dairy farming and the milking of cattle - once performed largely by hand, but now usually replaced by machine - exploits the cow's unique ruminant biology. Cattle are ruminants, meaning that they have a digestive system that allows use of otherwise indigestible foods by repeatedly regurgitating and rechewing them as "cud". The cud is then reswallowed and further digested by specialised microorganisms in the rumen. These microbes are primarily responsible for decomposing cellulose and other carbohydrates into volatile fatty acids that cattle use as their primary metabolic fuel.

The microbes inside the rumen are also able to synthesize amino acids from non-protein nitrogenous sources, such as urea and ammonia. As these microbes reproduce in the rumen, older generations die and their carcasses continue on through the digestive tract. These carcasses are then partially digested by the cattle, allowing them to gain a high quality protein source. These features allow cattle to thrive on grasses and other vegetation.

A limousine (or limo) is a luxury vehicle sedan or saloon car, especially one with a lengthened wheelbase or driven by a chauffeur. The chassis of a limousine may have been extended by the manufacturer or by an independent coach builder. These are referred to as "stretch" limousines and are traditionally black or white in color. Limousines are often driven by chauffeurs and until the mid-1990s were most often associated with the very rich. Big B's Paa look revealed!

Paa is a forthcoming 2009 Indian movie directed by R Balakrishnan starring Amitabh Bachchan, Abhishek Bachchan and Vidya Balan.



The film is scheduled for release on December 4, 2009.Veteran composer from Southern India, Ilaiyaraaja is scoring the music.



Paa tells the story of an intelligent and witty 13yr old boy, Auro (Amitabh Bachchan), who suffers from Progeria, an extremely rare genetic disorder wherein symptoms resembling aspects of aging are manifested at an early age.



Auro lives with his mother Vidhya (Vidya Balan), a gynaecologist. Amol Arte (Abhishek Bachchan) is Auro's father is a young politician full of ideals. He is out to prove to the world that 'politics' is not a bad world. The story revolves around the relationship between Amol and Auro.



Parts of the film have been shot in Cambridge, UK. Shooting in Cambridge University was a tough task for the crew as it was rumored that due to Cambridge University regulations, the crew had a difficult time completing the shoot according to schedule.



Some of the filming was originally planned to take place in Cambridge in June 2009. However, due to a conflict with student graduation ceremonies the Abbey Gardens in nearby Bury St Edmunds was used instead. Paa is to be released in India and abroad on December 4, 2009.
