Aishwarya Rai: The Most Glamorous Actress of Bollywood

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan( born on 1 November 1973) is an Indian actress and former Miss World. Before starting her acting career, she worked as a model and gained fame after winning the Miss World title in 1994. During her career, Rai has acted in over forty movies in Hindi, English, Tamil and Bengali. She is sometimes known simply as "Ash" or "Aish".

Often cited by the media as the most beautiful woman in the world, Rai made her movie debut in Mani Ratnam's Tamil film Iruvar (1997) and had her first commercial success in the Tamil movie Jeans (1998). She came to the attention of Bollywood in the movie Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam (1999), directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali. Her performance in the film won her the Filmfare Best Actress Award. In 2002 she appeared in Bhansali's next project, Devdas (2002), for which she won her second Filmfare Best Actress Award.

Before starting off his career as an actor, Kapoor worked as an assistant to director Sanjay Leela Bhansali, where he was involved in the making of the film Black (2005).Kapoor later made his acting debut in November 2007 with Bhansali's Saawariya opposite newcomer Sonam Kapoor. The film failed to do well at the box office, though his performance was largely appreciated. Kapoor was then seen in Siddharth Anand's romantic comedy Bachna Ae Haseeno (2008) alongside Bipasha Basu, Minissha Lamba and Deepika Padukone. The film performed reasonably well at the box office.

He recently appeared in Prakash Jha's multi-starrer Rajneeti, which released on June 4, 2010. Kapoor's forthcoming projects include Siddharth Anand's Anjaana Anjaani with Priyanka Chopra, and Imtiaz Ali's Rockstar with newcomer Diana Penty.

Kareena Kapoor ( born on September 21, 1980), often informally referred to as Bebo, is an Indian film actress who appears in Bollywood films. During her career, Kapoor has received five Filmfare Awards and has been noted for her performances in a range of film genres; these include her work in contemporary romantic dramas to comedies and period films, as well as major Bollywood productions to less publicised independent films.

Born into a family where both her parents, Randhir Kapoor and Babita, and her elder sister Karisma were actors, Kapoor faced the media spotlight from a very young age, but did not make her acting debut until the 2000 film Refugee. Her melodrama Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham... became India's highest-grossing film in the overseas market in 2001 and is one of her biggest commercial success to date.

Neha Dhupia (born on 27 August 1980) is an Indian actress who appears in Bollywood films. She is a former beauty queen and winner of Femina Miss India 2002.

Dhupia was born in Cochin, Kerala to a Punjabi Sikh family. Her father, Commander Sandip Dhupia, served in the Indian Navy and mother, Manpinder, is a homemaker. She went to Naval Public School, then transferred to Army Public School, Dhaula Kuan, New Delhi. She graduated from Jesus and Mary College, Delhi University with honors majoring in History.

Dutta was born in a Punjabi family in Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh, India. Her father is Wing Commander L.K. Dutta and her mother is Jennifer Dutta. She also has two older sisters, one of whom serves in the Indian Air Force and a well known younger sister. Famed composer and DJ Nitin Sawhney is Dutta's cousin. The Dutta family moved to Bangalore in 1981 where she completed high school from St.Francis Xavier Girls' High School. Lara graduated in economics with a minor in communications from University of Mumbai. She was crowned Miss Universe in 2000 which led to her appointment as a UNFPA Goodwill Ambassador in 2001.

Dutta won the annual Gladsrags modeling competition in her native India, thus winning the right to be the first Indian representative at the 1997 Miss Intercontinental, in which she took first place. Later, she was crowned Femina Miss India Universe and Miss Universe in 2000.

They are becoming a habit with each other. The husband-wife duo of Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan confess that they thoroughly enjoy working with each other.

Adah is a new HOT model & actress

Adah Sharma is the daughter of Narasimhan Sharma, a captain in the merchant navy and her mother Sheila, a yoga teacher. An only child Adah went to Auxilium Convent High School and graduated from Mumbai University with a degree in psychology.The actress has been a singer and dancer since the age of three and prefers yoga to a gym regime. Having completed six years of Kathak from Gopi Krishna's Dance Academy.

The glam divas - both cancer survivors - will be seen in a docu- drama talking about their experiences of fighting the dreaded disease and coming out as winners.

Titled 1- a- Minute , the docufilm on breast cancer is directed by actor Namrata Singh Gujral. It is scheduled for an October release.

Paa is a forthcoming 2009 Indian movie directed by R Balakrishnan starring Amitabh Bachchan, Abhishek Bachchan and Vidya Balan.

The film is scheduled for release on December 4, 2009.Veteran composer from Southern India, Ilaiyaraaja is scoring the music.

Paa tells the story of an intelligent and witty 13yr old boy, Auro (Amitabh Bachchan), who suffers from Progeria, an extremely rare genetic disorder wherein symptoms resembling aspects of aging are manifested at an early age.

Auro lives with his mother Vidhya (Vidya Balan), a gynaecologist. Amol Arte (Abhishek Bachchan) is Auro's father is a young politician full of ideals. He is out to prove to the world that 'politics' is not a bad world. The story revolves around the relationship between Amol and Auro.

Parts of the film have been shot in Cambridge, UK. Shooting in Cambridge University was a tough task for the crew as it was rumored that due to Cambridge University regulations, the crew had a difficult time completing the shoot according to schedule.

Some of the filming was originally planned to take place in Cambridge in June 2009. However, due to a conflict with student graduation ceremonies the Abbey Gardens in nearby Bury St Edmunds was used instead. Paa is to be released in India and abroad on December 4, 2009.

Bipasha Basu is a mainstream Indian Bollywood actress who was the winner of Ford's Godrej Cinthol Supermodel contest in 1996. In 2007, the newspaper Eastern Eye selected her as Asia's sexiest woman. Before winning Ford's Supermodel contest, she was studying to be a doctor in college and modeled on the side.

Preity Zinta has appeared in Bollywood films as well as Telugu, Punjabi, and English language films. She graduated with a degree in criminal psychology before making her acting debut in 1998. In addition to acting, she has written a series of columns for BBC News Online, South Asia and is co-owner of the Indian Premier League cricket team Kings XI Punjab.

Lara Dutta has made her name known as an Indian actress, UNFPA Goodwill Ambassador, and Miss Universe 2000. She's currently shooting for House Full which also stars Deepika Padukone. For her recent release, Blue, Lara walked off the project because the film was shot in the water and she shouldn't swim. Eventually she was coerced to return to the film and take swimming lessons. We'd like to be the lucky one to teach her how to swim.

Shilpa Shetty has appeared in more than 40 Bollywood, Tamil, Telugu, and Kannada films since her film debut in 1993. She has a gorgeous younger sister, Shamita Shetty who is also a Bollywood actress. Shilpa won Britian's 2007 Celebrity Big Brother with 63% of the final vote. Shetty also has a black belt in karate and is a dancesport expert.

Priyanka Chopra is the former Miss World 2000, a model, and an Indian actress. Chopra won a Filmfare Best Actress Award for her portrayal of a model in Fashion and established herself as one of the leading contemporary actresses in Bollywood.

Amrita Arora is a Bollywood actress and model who won a VJ Hunt for MTV India and has hosted several shows for the station. She's best know for her stunning good looks and light skin.

Ayesha Takia is a 23 year-old Bollywood actress who got her start in a "I Am a Complan Girl!" advertising campaign. She was then in music video Shake It Daddy which got her noticed by the film industry. Ayesha won the Filmfare Best Debut Award in 2004 for her performance in Taarzan: The Wonder Car.
