Jennifer Joanna Aniston (born February 11, 1969) is an American actress. She gained worldwide recognition in the 1990s for portraying the role of Rachel Green in the television sitcom Friends, which earned her an Emmy Award, a Golden Globe Award, and a Screen Actors Guild Award.
Kidman attended Lane Cove Public School and North Sydney Girls' High School. In 1984, her mother was diagnosed with breast cancer, which caused her to temporarily halt her education and help provide for the family by working as a massage therapist at age 17.
She is also known for her marriage to Tom Cruise, to whom she was married for 11 years and adopted two children, and her current marriage to country musician Keith Urban, with whom she has a biological daughter.
